Coolness may not age well

The half pipe is a winning bit of visualization.

Independent of your age, patty cake coolness is transitive if your patty cake partner is 8.

Your peers grunting in agreement as you rant about the kids these days is not the same thing as them thinking you're cool.

And I'm pretty sure "being told that you look older" immediately hits a wall at the age of 21.

I just had my 60th birthday. Looks like it was a good thing that I didn’t celebrate.

@ardgedee I distinctly remember the first time I was sir-ed. I was thirty-two in a place called El Rancho Gaseteria. They also carded me because I looked younger than fifty.
I have complicated emotions about the encounter ,at least in part, due to how much older my spouse is than me.

I bet many of us are at the age that, according to this graph, very few things are cool. Weirdly enough I’ve never felt this cool in my life.
(I also don’t complain much about young people, I do envy them and feel sorry we left them such a mess.)
